As a pediatric nurse practitioners, we are often asked by parents when and how to pierce their child’s ears in the safest, most comfortable way possible. Ear piercing can be an exciting milestone, but it can also come with some anxiety, for both kids and parents. That’s why we often recommend tandem ear piercing for children between the ages of six months to eight years.
