We specialize in soft tissue ear lobe piercings — mostly for kids, but adults are welcome too! We do not offer cartilage or other types of body piercings.

We pierce little ones starting at age 2 months up. We do request infants be scheduled 2 weeks after they have received their first set of vaccines - specifically, the Dtap vaccine. Adults are welcome too if you’re looking for simple, beautiful lobe piercings! If your child is unvaccinated please reach out to us prior to scheduling.

Yes! We what are appointment only. We do NOT accept walk-ins.

Time varies depending on our clients and their needs! We never want anyone to feel rushed- typical appointment time usually ranges anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes.

Yes! We offer simultaneous ear piercing by two licensed nurse practitioners for an additional $25. It’s ideal for young children (ages 6 months to 8 years) or anyone feeling nervous, making the experience quicker and less stressful.

Pricing is based on the earring selection, location, and whether you choose single or dual-provider simultaneous piercing and if any travel fees apply

Additional fees and discounts:

• Two piercers: $25
• One piercing (single ear): 50% of the earring cost, plus travel fee if greater than 10 miles, starting at $35; additional $10.00 if wanting a matching set of earrings.
• Two piercings (both ears): 20% off total
• Mommy & Me: 10% off combined total
• Piercing Party: host receives 10% off-  minimum of 4 guests - maximum  time is 2 hours
• Rounded back replacement: $10

You’re welcome to schedule an appointment at our cozy South Tampa on-site location during the week. Please be aware this is by appointment only as it requires coordination with multiple parties. We do NOT accept walk-ins.

We carry a  selection of elegant, hypoallergenic piercing studs designed specifically for young ears. Availability may vary by location. For safety reasons, we cannot pierce with outside jewelry.

No, we do not use piercing guns unless indicated on certain earrings - (Blomdahl Brand earrings require the use of a piercing gun) Our licensed nurse practitioners use a sterile, single-use, hand-pressured device that offers precise control for gentle and accurate piercings for majority of our earrings selection. All earrings are pre-sterilized and designed with long posts and safe backings to support optimal healing.

Absolutely! Life happens—we get it. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Your deposit will be applied to your new appointment date. No shows may forfeit their deposit.

Yes! All piercings are performed by licensed nurse practitioners trained in sterile techniques and proper use of PPE. We use only nickel-safe materials. If you or your child are feeling unwell, please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

This is totally normal! If your child decides not to proceed with the second piercing, you’ll only be charged for the completed piercing and jewelry used.

Most kids (and grown-ups!) say it feels like a quick pinch. We keep it calm, quick, and as comfortable as possible.

Ear lobes usually heal in about 6-8 weeks. We’ll give you full aftercare instructions to help keep everything clean and happy.

• Always wash your hands before touching the piercing.
• Clean with Studex Aftercare Solution twice daily (front and back) for six weeks.
• Do not twist, rotate, or touch unless advised otherwise.
• Keep a small space between the earring back and the ear.
• Check nightly to ensure backs are not too tight.
• Avoid alcohol or peroxide, which can dry the skin.
• We are with you for the 6 weeks healing journey and are available to help via phone call or FaceTime - if there are any significant concerns that require immediate assistance we recommend reaching out to your pediatrician.
• Contact us or your pediatrician if you notice pain, redness, swelling, or discharge.

• • Wear hypoallergenic earrings ( avoid sterling silver, nickel, or copper based  earrings) continuously for at least one year to prevent closure.

Swimming in oceans or lakes should be avoided for at least 2 weeks. Chlorinated pools are generally safe if well maintained after 24 hours from your piercing. If the ears get dry, you can apply a small amount of Vaseline.

Most sports allow earrings as long as they are covered with a bandage or athletic tape. Always check with your child’s league. If earrings must be removed, replace them as soon as possible. Clean earrings prior to reinserting.

The practitioners at Peekaboo Piercing pride ourselves in our ability to accurately mark and perform our piercings. We involve parents in the marking process to ensure satisfaction, but if you have concerns afterward, please contact us directly. One of our nurse practitioners will be happy to review it with you.

If you believe there is a defect or quality issue, please reach out. We will contact our supplier on your behalf to resolve it.
